Tammy Darlene (Lee) Tatum

Tammy (Lee) Tatum, 62, of Longview, Texas, passed away on August 26, 2021, in Longview, Texas. She was born on May 13, 1959, in Houston, Texas to the late Charles Raymond and Eula Irene (Wilson) Lee.  Graveside Service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 30, 2021, at Holly Springs Cemetery, Appleby, Texas.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Garrison Funeral Home, Garrison, Texas.

Tammy was embraced in the arms of Jesus and loved ones on August 26th, 2021, she was born on May 13th, 1959, to Charles and Irene Lee and shortly after became a big sister to Jeff and Charlie.

Tammy moved to Garrison with her family around the age of 15 where she graduated high school in 1977.

Tammy became a mother to her beloved daughter Nikki on February 2nd, 1978. She mastered the roll of mom which was her favorite title until her grandson Cade came along. ‘MiMi’ quickly became her passion. She loved traveling to Cade’s baseball games and attending his school events. She loved to travel. Her most recent trip was to the Guadalupe River with her best friend, Danelle.

She moved to Longview/Hallsville area in 1996 to be closer to her dad.  She flourished in this community.  She enjoyed community outreach programs, pedicures, family dinners and mother-daughter time with Nikki. She loved the outdoors, fishing, and working in her yard and flower beds.

She loved her family and spending time with brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was very active in her church, Trails End Cowboy Church of Harrison County, and enjoyed playing Mexican train with her church family.

 We will miss her every day but have peace in knowing she is rejoicing in the arms of Jesus. 

Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Charles Lee; mother, Eula Irene Lee; and husband, Jimmy Tatum.

She is survived by her daughter, Nikki McFadin & fiancé, Duke Campbell; grandson, Cade Molidor; brothers, Jeff Lee & girlfriend, Tess, and Charlie Lee & girlfriend, Kristi; brothers-in-law, Gene Tatum & wife, Pam, Johnny Tatum, and Tommy Tatum & wife, Dina; sister-in-law, Sandy Ward & husband, Dwayne; and her special friend “Sister”, Danelle Davis & husband, Steve.
