Jimmy was a devoted husband and family man.  He was a quiet gentle man.  Jimmy enjoyed being with family and friends, especially at family reunions.  He loved watching Nascar, the Houston Astros, but his favorite team of all was the Dallas Cowboys.  Jimmy always enjoyed naps and when it was time to wake, he always looked for his loving wife.  He liked to shop at flea markets, collecting old or unusual items.  He enjoyed watching westerns in his downtime.  Jimmy always wanted his family to have whatever they wanted, but if he had three shirts, he thought he had plenty.  He looked forward to eating Mexican food after church on Sundays with his friends, where he always came home with salsa on his shirt.  Jimmy accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age.  He and Bobbie were faithful members of Northwood Baptist Church.  Though he is not here physically the memories will remain.  The battle is over, the race is won.  The family would like to thank all those whose support through prayers, food, and visits was invaluable.  Special thanks to LaTonya, Tracy, and Harbor Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Cold Springs Cemetery, or Northwood Baptist Manger Fund.
