Jenna Kay (Stovall) McGrath, 78, of Timpson, Texas, passed away on April 23, 2022, in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was born on June 5, 1943, in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Lyford “Rip” Taylor and Lillian Essie (McCormick) Stovall. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Garrison Funeral Home in Garrison, Texas officiated by Bro. Jason Lott. Interment will follow at Cold Springs Cemetery in Garrison, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Garrison Funeral Home in Garrison, Texas.
Jenna attended Roy Miller High School in Corpus Christi. She graduated in 1961. During her life, Jenna had various secretarial jobs from a young adult on. She also had a cosmetology license. Jenna went to police academy at Dallas Baptist University in 1992, at the age of 50 years old. She then worked as a Denton County Deputy Constable in Precinct 1 from 1993 to 2003, when she retired. Jenna was a very talented woman. She enjoyed photography and took beautiful photographs. Jenna also loved sewing and researching genealogy. She enjoyed shopping later in life, and frequented Amazon.com. Jenna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. “Maw Maw’ or “Little Grandma”, as she was known by her grandchildren, relished in the time she got to spend with them. Jenna will be greatly missed by her husband, Frank, who loved her dearly.
Jenna is survived by her loving husband, Francis McGrath, Jr,; her son, Michael Lee Naylor, Jr.; daughters, Mary Bess Snyder, Karen Maurine Naylor, Frances Jean Mills and husband, Jon, and Charlotte Marion McGrath; son-in-law, Lesley Snyder; sister, Shirley Ione Bailey and husband, Harvey; aunt, Beluah Dott Perkins; niece, Cheryl Ann Bailey; grandchildren, Rachelle Lea Klepac and husband, Brandon, Roxanne LaRae Cox and husband, Dennis, Bryan Mills, Keith Mills, Kenna Denise Naylor, and Conner Walker; great-grandchildren, Savannah Grace Lawson, Penny Gayle Cox, Shiloh DelRae Klepac, Cash Cotton Cox, Cheyanne Lillian Klepac, Waylon West Cox, and Elvis Champ Cox; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lyford “Rip” and Lillian Essie Stovall.
