David Allen Beard

David Beard, 78, of Garrison, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2021, in Garrison, Texas. He was born on December 21, 1942, in Appleby, Texas to the late Wilburn Thomas and Ester Kirk Beard.  Visitation will be at 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Garrison Funeral Home, Garrison, Tx.

David Allen Beard, son of Wilburn Thomas Beard and Ester Kirk Beard.  Born December 21, 1942 in Appleby, Tx.  Died at his home August 16, 2021 in Garrison, Tx.  He spent his life driving trucks.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda Rasberry Beard and his four children, Denise Beard of Garrison, Tx, Jimmy Don Beard of Tyler, Tx, Brenda Lois White and husband, James of Garrison, Tx, and Raymond Allen Beard and wife, Donna Beard of Nucla, Co.  Twelve grandkids and eighteen great-grandkids; brother, Roger Beard and wife, Nadine of Minden, Tx.; sister, Laverne Barnhart and partner, Steve Taylor of Nacogdoches, Tx, and Connie Sue Beard of Garrison, Tx, and numerous nieces and nephews.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn Thomas and Ester Kirk Beard; brothers, Jimmy Beard, Paul Beard, and Danny Beard.
