Billy Floyd Saxton

Billy Saxton, 81, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away on April 9, 2022, in Nacogdoches, Texas. He was born on February 15, 1941, to the late Richard and Ava (Tims) Saxton. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Cold Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Garrison Funeral Home, Garrison, Texas.

Billy was in the Air Force from 1960-1968. While in the Air Force he had 3 children; Billy, Bobby, and Kathy. Once discharged, Billy started his career as a police officer at Nacogdoches Police Department for 42 years.

He didn't cross through those heavenly gates alone.  He walked through them with his son.  Two great men have now been reunited.
